You may talk of hammocks and tarps
When you gather with some friends
And you wish to show how comfortable they are
But when it comes to hanging these
You’ll do so with Dutchware, and with ease
And brag to all around who will listen near and far
Down the trails I find sublime
Where I’ve spent a little time
Carrying my hammock from tree to tree
Of all the hikers I met
The finest of them yet
Was Dutch, a right smart fella was he
He is Dutch, Dutch, Dutch
That brave inventor is he, Dutch
who makes pancakes for all to enjoy so very much
Now wrap your strap around a tree
use the gear I invented, said he
you once bearded fellow, and always friend – Dutch
The Dutch Clip in its refine
Puts a strap around a tree in half the time
I wouldn’t go without one now, would you?
But my favorite of all
Is the one that very small
The great tarp flyz, and I have two
He makes hooks and whoopie slings
Super light biners and cuben things
He’s a fine inventor, that brave sole Dutch
These were made in my favorite color
Orange, and they are like no other
He’s a friend to all, and I thank him much
He is Dutch, Dutch, Dutch
The brave inventor is he, Dutch
who makes pancakes for all to enjoy so very much
Now wrap your strap around a tree
use the gear I invented, said he
you once bearded fellow, and always friend – Dutch
Joey! thank you SO much for posting :)
